Each activity has a therapeutic reason behind it and the simplest task can work on memory, cognition, fine or gross motor skill, alleviate depression or anxiety and improve self-worth. Together these aspects help participants to improve their quality of life, maintain or slow health deterioration often associated with aging and keep participants as independent as possible.
