Resident’s activities include: a monthly birthday party, church every Sunday, with alternating denominations, Bible study, bingo, bus rides, barbecues and exercises. Volunteer hairdressers come in weekly for the residents. Area church groups sponsor Friday socials; they bring in entertainment, and have refreshments afterwards. Residents enjoy watching movies and eating popcorn, craft time, parties, and games, such as Pictionary, Scrabble, and Hangman. Faith Home purchased a Nintendo Wii system and residents often enjoy bowling competition. Father Jolly has Mass on Thursdays and Father Fox prays the Rosary every Wednesday. Faith Home has many visitors and volunteers. They are key to the success of Faith Lutheran Home. Residents themselves donate their time by utilizing their talents, as one resident plays the piano every morning after breakfast. What makes Faith Lutheran Home unique is that our residents grew up here, worked here, and lived here all of their lives and wish to remain members of the community.
