Specialty Programs Available: SOCIAL SERVICES, TRANSPORTATION, ACTIVITIES, NUTRITION, NURSING, DAHS
Details: The Center was purchased in 1985, and was immediately incorporated as a non-profit charitable organization. In 1986 Tony Chong became president and director. When he arrived the facility was losing money, but through his outstanding leadership and careful management the center became financially self-sufficient. He and his wife Cheri, who also serves as director, bring a spirit of love and kindness to the center. Their empathetic and infectious nature has infused itself into each employee. They and their employees work together to understand and appreciate those who need help, and are thrilled to give this kind of service to those who need it. Our corporate slogan, “Where Love Makes the Difference,†is indicative of the care given here. Our adult day care center exists to help elderly and disabled persons who do not qualify for nursing home residency, and whose families cannot take care of them, have a safe place where they can go during the day. Our desire is to aid families in maintaining their elderly or disabled adults in the community, thereby postponing nursing home placement. We provide a structured, protective setting for those who can benefit from our service.
