York PA 17402 (717) 757-5433	Senior LIFE York is committed to enhancing the ability of seniors to stay at home and live safely in the community as long as possible by coordinating comprehensive healthcare and supportive services for our members. Senior LIFE is an innovative program that uses a team approach to provide seniors in the York / York County areas with medical, social, nutritional and rehabilitation services. These services are provided at the Senior LIFE York Center and are accompanied with in-home nursing care, personal care, and other homecare services as needed. Senior LIFE makes it possible for seniors to remain at home, enjoying the comfort and reassurance of familiar surroundings while receiving the care they need. Senior LIFE is a Medicare Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) operating as a LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly) program in the state of Pennsylvania. To be eligible for the program at no cost, members must be 55 years old or older; live in an area served by a LIFE Program, able to live safely in the community, be determined as medically eligible based on health conditions, and be determined as financially eligible based on income and assets. For those who are not financially eligible, there is also an option to pay privately for the services. Senior LIFE enables seniors in the York / York County areas to maintain both their quality of life and their independence. Our wide array of support services are designed to help seniors with their personal, physical and social needs - to maintain health, stimulate interest and increase socialization. We serve the healthcare needs of medically eligible seniors living at home that may need caregiver assistance. The LIFE program is an ideal alternative to nursing homes and personal care homes, providing members with a comprehensive homecare plan that allows them to live at home longer and more comfortably.

The Corporation was founded in 1985 to provide high quality and caring services to individuals with disabilities in residences throughout York County. We are governed by a volunteer board of directors representing a cross section of the York Community. Our team of dedicated and well trained staff embodies our beliefs by helping people grow and experience all aspects of life. Shadowfax Corporation (Primarily Serves the MR Population) 386 Pattison Street York PA 17403 (717) 854-7742	The Shadowfax Corporation is a private, non-profit human services agency that supports individuals with disabilities. The Corporation was founded in 1985 to provide high quality and caring services to individuals with disabilities in residences throughout York County. We are governed by a volunteer board of directors representing a cross section of the York Community. Shadowfax offers the most extensive and comprehensive programs of its kind in the York/Adams area. In 1986, the company supported 12 individuals in four homes. The residential services department now supports over 100 individuals in over 30 homes throughout the county. Over 350 people are supported in a variety of day services that include: supported employment, job placement, vocational training, in home supports, community based programming, and life skills training. Shadowfax also operates two photo ID centers in York through a contract with PA Industries for the Blind and Handicapped. Shadowfax partners with over 65 local businesses to meet their outsourcing needs. We offer quality, on-time production services in the following areas: packaging; office services; inspection, sorting and salvage; industrial operations; special projects; and custom and industrial engraving. Shadowfax also produces the beautiful Taste of York County gift baskets for any gift-giving occasion. We also make custom baskets to meet any need. Shadowfax strives to provide individuals with a supportive environment which cultivates trust, open communication, and teamwork. This allows individuals the freedom to showcase their talents.
