Our Adult Day Service Centers promote health, happiness, independence and safety by providing individuals increased opportunities for access, inclusion and choice. Every day is filled with new and exciting opportunities for our participants! Our Adult Day Service Centers support adults with disabilities, their families and caregivers with respite, and access to community resources. Our person-centered approach allows participants the opportunity to dictate the activities and outings they choose to participate in. Our programs are located in your community and also offer our participants the opportunity to explore their community through recreational outings and volunteer opportunities with neighboring businesses. Participants are able to attend programming Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., on either a full-time or part-time basis. At Easter Seals, we believe in the people that we serve. We believe that we exist to support them in having lives filled with independence, purpose, high self-esteem and a connection to the world around them. Lutheran Social Services offers Adult Day programs in eight locations – five in the southeast portion of the state, two in the Fox Valley area, and one in the northeast portion of the state. The programs are designed to serve physically and/or cognitively challenged adults and their caregivers. Adult Day programs provide much needed respite for caregivers and allow individuals who might otherwise be placed in residential or institutional settings remain at home. These programs emphasize supervised group activities, socialization with peers, a healthy meal, health monitoring, and assistance with activities of daily living (eating and bathing). |
