The Older Adult Daily Living Center provides day services to adults with developmental disabilities age 60 and over. This program, licensed by the Department of Aging, focuses on enabling seniors to fully participate in. enjoy, and enhance their retirement. The seniors have a space including areas for activity, relaxation, and cooking, within the Pathways Adult Training Facility (ATF). The ATF's training areas and wheel-chair accessible vans are also used. The seniors focus on maintaining daily living skills, physical exercise, health monitoring, community awareness, cooking, arts and crafts, and other recreational/leisure time activities. |

Senior LIFE Washington is committed to enhancing the ability of seniors to stay at home and live safely in the community as long as possible by coordinating comprehensive healthcare and supportive services for our members. Senior LIFE is an innovative program that uses a team approach to provide seniors in the Washington / Washington County areas with medical, social, nutritional and rehabilitation services. These services are provided at the Senior LIFE Washington Center of Washington County, Pennsylvania; at our SeniorCARE center in Waynebsurg, Pennsylvania; and are accompanied with in-home nursing care, personal care, and other homecare services as needed. Senior LIFE makes it possible for seniors to remain at home, enjoying the comfort and reassurance of familiar surroundings while receiving the care they need. Senior LIFE is a Medicare Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) operating as a LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly) program in the state of Pennsylvania. To be eligible for the program at no cost, members must be 55 years old or older; live in an area served by a LIFE Program, able to live safely in the community, be determined as medically eligible based on health conditions, and be determined as financially eligible based on income and assets. For those who are not financially eligible, there is also an option to pay privately for the services. Senior LIFE enables seniors in the Washington / Washington County areas to maintain both their quality of life and their independence. Our wide array of support services are designed to help seniors with their personal, physical and social needs — to maintain health, stimulate interest and increase socialization. We serve the healthcare needs of medically eligible seniors living at home that may need caregiver assistance. The LIFE program is an ideal alternative to nursing homes and personal care homes, providing members with a comprehensive homecare plan that allows them to live at home longer and more comfortably. |

The Washington County Health Center is a licensed nursing facility serving the Washington and surrounding communities for over 30 years. Our 288 bed facility is located on scenic and spacious grounds in the rolling hills of Chartiers Township. The health center provides skilled nursing care, short term rehabilitation services, residential nursing home care, and speciality care for individuals with special needs, such as Alzheimer's disease. The Washington County Health Center also offers such services as Adult Day Care, and training and support for care-givers and families. Adult day services, also known as an adult day center (ADC), is a planned program that includes a variety of health, social and supportive services in a safe, supervised environment. |
