Adult Day Health (ADH) services are Medicaid Waiver or Fee-for-Service services provided to participants in order to assist them in developing, maintaining and improving their skills in daily living. The Health Center's five licensed Adult Day Care (ADC) locations provide a comfortable, home-away-from-home environment for adults at least 18 years of age in need of supervision. Personalized care is provided by Certified Nurse Aides assisted by Senior Companions and Senior Volunteers. Each of its locations is carefully designed to feel just like home – even down to the cloth tablecloths and napkins and real dinnerware. Breakfast, a hot lunch and a nutritious snack are included. Activities include arts and crafts, entertainment, field trips, music and dance, exercises, games, small group activities and opportunities for socialization with peers and staff. |
