This unique facility, dedicated solely to the care of people diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease, is nestled in the midst of 11 tranquil acres of pastureland. We planned it that way, because we wanted to provide residents the therapy of being around nature, complete with horses, and now and then grazing sheep next door. One of the few licensed, stand-alone facilities in Missouri to specialize in management of the progressive stages of Alzheimer's Disease, Seasons is also as dedicated to helping support the caregiver as well. Educational resources, family council meetings, support groups and caregiver conferences are available to families trying to maintain balance while meeting the ever increasing needs of their loved one. |

The Carousel provides services and supports to strengthen and enhance the lives of the elderly and adults with special needs. We operate seven days per week from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM. We provide transportation. We provide incontinent care, personal hygiene and grooming, tube feeding and special diets. We provide physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy and music therapy. We provide ceramics, arts, crafts, community outings and other fun filled activities. We are equipped with an onsite beauty salon for hair and nail care. We are dedicated to being the voice for the voiceless. We work to maximize independence and prevent and or delay premature institutionalization through allowing autonomy, individual choice, cultural competence and self-determination. |
