The Mary Lane Center, LLC was founded in 2007 by the Jones Family whose family members have been working in the social and health services industry for over 20 years. Our goal is to provide safe, reliable daytime programming for the frail elderly and chronically disabled older adult. The Mary Lane Center is a private for-profit organization developed to meet the increasing needs of the growing elderly population in our community. Because many of our own family members were struck with the early onset of Alzheimer’s disease and had inadequate services and not able to afford the cost to provide care for them, we took this opportunity to create a business that offered affordable, better care to the aging and disabled which is now called THE MARY LANE CENTER, which is named after our deceased mother, Mary. Adult Day Service are community-based group programs designed to meet the needs of adults with impairments through individual plans of care. These structured, comprehensive, non-residential programs provide health, social, recreational, and therapeutic activities, supervision, support services, and personal care. |

ADS is an organization that strives for excellence and perfection in the adult day care line of work. Our purpose is to provide a variety of services that will increase the quality of life for adults that are physically and cognitively impaired, socially isolated, in need of personal care and persons needing assistance to function independently in the community. RADS incorporated on February 15, 2005, by the State of Indiana. Brigitte Robinson-Porter and Chris Robinson-Peterson who after working in social and health services industry and the concerns of their own mother’s future care, felt that there was a tremendous need for better care for adults that were disabled and not employable. This became the principal reason for the Robinson sisters to start their own adult service in Lake County, Indiana. Also, the opportunity to create a business that offered affordable, better care to the aging and disabled was reflected in their enthusiasm to begin Robinson Adult Day Services. |

TradeWinds ADAPT I and II provide adults 18 and older with a meaningful day experience by offering a variety of activities and opportunities to socialize with others in a safe, monitored, caring and supportive environment. Adults with special needs can experience a meaningful day and enjoy interacting with others in a clean, calm environment under the supervision of TradeWinds trained staff in the ADAPT programs. Staff members provide assistance with feeding, personal care, hygiene and behavioral support in a plan especially created for each individual. Case Managers are assigned and on-site for any additional support needed by either the participant or family. ADAPT I participants have need of additional physical assistance from staff members while ADAPT II participants require less physical assistance and generally receive more behavioral support. Those in the programs often enjoy outings, parties, and other social activities that add variety to their daily tasks and routines. Trainers in the ADAPT programs are all qualified in First Aid, CPR and Crisis Intervention and meet state standards. They are fully trained in each participant’s plan and work closely with Case Managers to optimize the individual’s daily experience. |
