Visiting RiverView Health’s Adult Day Services (ADS) is like walking into a beauty salon one day, a big birthday bash the next with the aroma of strawberry birthday cake wafting from the oven, and then the next day it might be completely quiet because everyone is out on a shopping excursion or visiting the Memory Care Unit for a rousing game of music bingo. It’s all of those things and then some that keep the program participants coming back week after week to the program housed under RiverView’s roof in Crookston. The program is available Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A van with a wheelchair lift provides transportation to and from homes in Crookston, or family members often drop their loved one off at the door with waiting staff. |
