JABA offers two Adult Care Centers located in Albemarle and Louisa Counties. JABA’s Shining Star Preschools are located next to each ACC providing a full day of fun, a caring staff and intergenerational activities and outings. Transportation to and from an ACC may be arranged through outside sources such as JAUNT. The ACC's specialize in person–centered care plans and Alzheimer’s and dementia care. If your loved one needs a safe place that will provide assistance with activities of daily living such as eating and bathing, call one of our centers for a tour and complimentary lunch. JABA’s ACC specializes in caring for the aged population but also welcomes the disabled ages 18 years and older. JABA’s free Health Services are offered at each center. JABA takes time to care for caregivers as well. Each center offers free caregiver support groups, including respite care during the sessions. |
