Adult Day Services provides relief to family members and all. The setting is warm and comfortable — just like home, and staff members welcome participants with “Good morning†and kind smiles. Conversations and laughter unfold, and as the day closes, participants return home having experienced an engaging and memorable day. We strive to make positive, lasting impressions through meaningful programs, including support for those with memory challenges. Highpointe Services is a Colorado-based 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization established in 2004 to provide high-quality programs and services to individuals with developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries. From our flagship location in Centennial, we offer a wide variety of programs to clients from high school age through adulthood. At the HighPointe Center, we believe in being responsive to the unique needs of our clients. The motto of the HighPointe Center is Pursue Personal Growth and our programs have been designed to allow our clients to do just that. We provide a variety of services to empower individuals with developmental disabilities that are directed by an experienced team with great care and encouragement. The HighPointe Adult Day Enrichment Program is a carefully developed program with the following features: Wonderful new 5,000 square foot facility; Detailed intake process to assess each client’s unique needs, goals and strengths; 5 days per week program; Outstanding staff with extensive training and experience. All our clients benefit from: Skills training and development; Promotion of greater independence; A variety of interesting and meaningful volunteer opportunities; Diverse recreational and cultural opportunities; Socialization with both peers and the broader community; Attention to individualized needs; Assistance in understanding and making choices; A variety of center-based habilitation services. Whether it is socialization, leisure, vocational or volunteer activities, emphasis is placed on Person Centered Planning and addressing the likes, wants, needs and dreams of each individual, with services being delivered according to the individual’s preferences and choices. Making choices, setting goals and planning become an important part of the skill-building process. |
