ST MARY MAGDALEN ADULT CENTER 710 SPRING LAKE ROAD, SUITE 1100 ALTAMONTE SPRINGS FL 32701 (407) 831-9630 |
St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Parish is a Eucharistic community that places God first in all things and comes together to love as Christ loves and serve as Christ serves. Adult day care is a way of providing daytime supervision and assistance to physically and/or mentally frail adults. This type of care allows family members to continue to work while providing care to another adult. It also provides respite and some private time for caregivers. Adult day care is really a kind of therapy which invites the adult into a community of other adults for socialization and enjoyment, at the same time providing needed care and services. St. Mary Magdalen Adult Center serves adults with chronic health problems as well as those needing companionship and support. The Adult Center reflects the love that the parish community of St. Mary Magdalen has for adults who need special care and attention. This program of compassionate care is the sign of God's love and presence among us. The dignity of each person is the focus of our client-centered day care program. Each participant's interests and abilities are incorporated into the plan of care creating a "home away from home" atmosphere. Those who are frail or need assistance are invited to enjoy a day in our cozy, comfortable setting. Family caregivers receive support and encouragement from our capable RNs and aides. |
