Details: The East Boston Elder Service Plan is part of a national network of programs called the Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). The PACE model of care evolved from the belief and experience that older adults with chronic care needs, and their families and caregivers, are better served by remaining in their homes and community whenever possible. Our Winthrop Center is sited just one block from Winthrop Beach. The facility features a large, light-filled activity room, a lively rehab gym, and newly refurbished medical offices. Activity offerings include group exercise, discussion and education groups, music, arts and crafts, and pet therapy.
