Details: Our Senior Day Care facility is located at 118 Taunton Ave, East Providence, RI and services Rhode Island and Massachusetts ( MA ). The purpose of the center is to help people in need meet their goals to remain home and in their community with independence and dignity. At the same time their caregivers may benefit from some time away from care giving duties to attend to their own needs, while knowing that a loved one is being cared for in a safe, caring environment. Sacred Heart Senior Day Care is licensed by the RI Department of Health. All participants must be ambulatory. They will be supervised and cared for by a qualified staff that includes a registered nurse, a program director, a director of activities, and a social worker. Snacks and hot meals will be provided to all participants. Daily planned activities in an atmosphere of respect and kindness is what we strive for at the center. Co-Pay rates may vary according to the participant’s eligibility for assistance from Medicaid, the Division of Elderly Affairs, Respite, and Veterans, with a base rate of $55.00 per day.
