Details: The Respite Adult Day Center gives frail or cognitively disabled adults the opportunity to make new friends and participate in a host of enjoyable activities in a safe and comfortable environment. A team of caring staff and volunteers are present to provide personalized support, encouragement and assistance to each participant. The Respite Adult Day Center can also help your loved one feel happier, more connected to the community, and more interested in life. The Respite Adult Day Center provides a period of much needed rest for family members who are caring for a loved one at home. Secure in the knowledge that their loved one is receiving excellent supplemental care, the caregiver is able to enjoy some personal, renewing time which aids in improved mental and physical well-being. The staff also offers support and community referrals as needed.
