Details: The Pastime Club is a non-profit organization who's mission is: To positively impact the lives of persons with early dementia as well as those who care for them. Our participant population is as diverse as the Lakeland area we serve. People of all faiths and ethnic groups attend the Pastime Club, and people come to us from a variety of settings. Some live with spouses, others with adult children, alone, in group homes or assisted living facilities. A staff of devoted individuals care for people each Monday and Thursday who come to the Pastime Club Adult Day Center, located at the Ascension Lutheran Church on Hwy. 51, in Minocqua. Those attending the program are considered part of a very special community, a compassionate community where relationships approach those of a loving family.
