Clientele for the Adult Day Care include people who have Alzheimer’s, Parkinson and other dementia diseases, those recovering from strokes, and senior citizens at home alone while caregivers are away. We have frail elderly among us who need the safety of constant companionship, the stimulation of social interaction with people outside their own family, and a means of getting regular physical exercise suited to their particular age and abilities. A safe, comfortable environment, in a convenient location, with planned daily activities, supervised by qualified staff with a Monday through Friday schedule is now available to our most fragile citizens. This program has been extended to adults with disabilities of all ages. |
